Bijgerd/Maede School

Helping repair and aging school building and create a safer learning space.

Maede School is located in Bijgerd village. The school building dates back to the 1960's and has become worn out due to years of limited renovation. Heavy rains have damaged parts of the building, creating water infiltration and possible electrical safety risks. Some classrooms also need repair, causing multiple grade levels to share the same classroom.

Student benches and basic equipment

Khalilabad School

Renovating the only school serving children in Khalilabad village

Khalilabad School is the only school in the village for both male and female students across different education levels. The school building dates back to the 1950's and is now worn out. The schoolyard is still made of dirt and stones, which can cause injuries while students are playing, and the toilet facilities need major repairs.

Safer outdoor areas for students

Sadeghieh/Shahid Aslani School

Building protective walls to improve student safety

Shahid Aslani School in Sadeghieh has already been repaired and reconstructed, but the school area still has no walls. Since the toilets are located outside the building and wild animals such as wolves have been seen in the yard, building protective block walls is an important safety priority for students.

Reducing risks from surrounding environment
